Say what each day was
Drop the whole wedding, every day in one folder, and Hailo finds the days for you. Each one gets a row with its date, a Day number and how many clips were shot. You set the type: Wedding day, Rehearsal dinner, Welcome party, Pool or hangout day, Adventure or couple session, Excursion, Farewell brunch, Engagement session, or Other. You can also name a day after its event, so a mehndi, a sangeet or a haldi is called what it was.
Hailo looks for the wedding day itself and badges it Wedding day confirmed or Likely the wedding day. You can change that, and only one day can be the wedding day. A day that held two events, such as a couple session in the afternoon and a welcome party that night, takes a second event with the + button. A destination wedding video with an excursion day and a brunch reads the same way.
A wrong camera clock does not move the wedding
The dates on the days screen come from the couple's wedding date in Hailo, not only from the cameras. If a body was set to the wrong year, its footage still lands on the real wedding date, and the other days fall into place around it. When a camera's clock puts a block of footage on the wrong day, Change day moves it where it belongs.

After the run, the clip grid shows a header for each day with its date, type and clip count, and you can fold a day away while you work on another. Timelines follow the order of the weekend, so the rehearsal dinner video sits before the wedding day.
In Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, each day gets its own folder with its moments inside it, so the details from the welcome party never land beside the details from the wedding. What Hailo reads on an Indian or South Asian wedding, and what it does not
Plainly: Hailo's moment labels were built for one shape of wedding day, the Western one, with getting ready, a first look, a ceremony, portraits, speeches and a first dance. They have no vocabulary for a baraat, pheras, nikah, tea ceremony or chuppah. On the wedding day, those clips come back as ceremony, reception or miscellaneous.
Days other than the wedding day are labeled by what is in the shot instead: couple, guests, candid, dining, activity, speeches, details, establishing. On an Indian wedding, every clip from a day confirmed as the Haldi, Mehndi or Sangeet is labeled as that event, which suits mehndi video editing or a sangeet edit far better.
