Ask Hailo is the bar under the greeting on your dashboard. Ask it something about your studio and the dashboard turns into a chat in place. It reads your Manage records (leads, clients, proposals, invoices, payments, bookings and the calendar), so it can total what is outstanding, list the weddings in a date range or find the couple whose contract is still unsigned. Ask about money and it reads the same records as your invoices.

The questions sound like the ones you would ask a studio manager, if you had one:

• Who still owes a balance before October?
• What is booked next month?
• Which leads have not heard from me this week?
• Which couples never got their film?

Follow up, and pick up old threads

Keep typing and it follows the conversation you are in, which is what makes it a chat with your CRM rather than a search box: ask who owes money, then which of them have a wedding this month, then which of those you have not emailed.

Every conversation is saved as a thread and titled from its first exchange. Previous chats opens the list, newest first, so last week's question about the fall calendar is one click away. New starts a fresh thread, and Back returns you to the normal dashboard.

How-to questions, with the help page it used

Ask how to do something in Hailo, or where a setting lives, and Ask Hailo answers from the help center and links you to the page it used. New and corrected help articles reach it without an update, so the answer keeps up as screens change.

That makes it a second way to find your way around, next to ⌘K quick search, which jumps straight to any lead, client, invoice or page by name.

A CRM with an AI assistant that suggests while you approve

Sometimes an answer comes with a card offering to do something: draft an email to a couple, add a note, block time on your calendar or change a lead's status. Nothing happens until you click the card's button. Dismiss it and your records stay exactly as they were.

While it is answering, it changes nothing at all. That matters in an AI CRM for small business, where a wrong status or an email that went out lands on a real couple. A note it drafts goes onto the couple's activity rail like any note you write, covered under client records.

What it can and cannot know

Ask Hailo knows what is in Manage. If you took a payment outside Hailo and never recorded it, it cannot know about it, so record the payment and ask again. If a question is too loose to answer, name the couple or the month you mean. It answers about your business records, not your footage.
