Wedding vendor credits on the gallery, linked and ready
Wedding vendor credits name the people who made the day (the photographer, the planner, the florist, the venue, the DJ) with a link to each, and in Hailo they sit on the couple's film gallery. This is about crediting wedding vendors, not the accounting kind of vendor credit: a short, linked list on the page the couple watches and shares.
What you get
Vendor credits
Everyone from the day, credited and linked.
Why wedding vendor credits belong on the film page
The gallery is the page the couple sends to parents, friends and the bridal party, and it is the page the other vendors from the day then see. A credit with a working link puts the photographer's name and the florist's website in front of everyone who watches the film, as one section of the gallery design you can place where you like.
It is also a small courtesy that vendors remember. Planners and photographers often refer couples to filmmakers they like working with, and seeing their own name credited and linked on your delivery is a good reason to send the next one. None of it costs the couple a thing or adds anything to the film itself.
Your wedding vendor list, kept in one place
In Manage you keep a vendor roster: the planners, photographers, DJs and officiants you work with, with their contact details. The same roster fills the vendor fields on each couple's wedding record. On the gallery, you pick from that list instead of retyping names and links for every wedding, and when a vendor's details change you update them once in the roster.
Anyone not on your list goes in as a custom row: pick a role, type a name, and add their website or profile if you like. Hailo adds the https:// if you leave it off. A page holds up to 32 credits, which covers even a large wedding.
If you were looking for a wedding vendor list template to download, Hailo does not offer one. The roster is the list, and it is what fills the wedding vendor credits on every gallery.
Which vendors to credit
Credit everyone whose work shows up on screen or shaped the day. Ask the couple for their final list after the wedding, since bookings change late, and check the spelling of each business name before you publish. A typical list:
- Photographer, and second photographer if there was one
- Planner or coordinator
- Venue, for the ceremony and the reception if they differ
- Florist, and any rentals or decor company
- DJ or band, and the officiant
- Hair and makeup, attire and the caterer or baker
How to tag wedding vendors on Instagram, and where the gallery fits
When you post a clip from the film, tag each vendor's account on the post and list their handles in the caption, so the credit survives even if someone only reads the text. The gallery credits do a different job: they stay with the full film and link to each vendor's site for anyone the couple shares it with.
Hailo does not post to Instagram or tag anyone there for you. What it does on the Instagram side is plan: an Instagram posting plan fills the next four weeks with your own couples. The credits themselves live on the gallery.
How you use it in Hailo
- Add the vendors you work with to your Vendors roster in Manage.
- Open the couple's gallery and click Vendors in the rail.
- Click + Add from your vendors and pick each one; their details come from the roster.
- Click + Custom row for anyone else, then choose a role, type a name and add a link.
- If the panel says the section is hidden, click Show it, then publish.
Questions filmmakers ask
How do you credit vendors on a wedding post?
Name each vendor with their role and link to them. On social media, tag their account on the post and list the handles in the caption. On a wedding film gallery, add a credits section with a name, a role and a website link for each vendor. In Hailo that section sits on the gallery and pulls names and details from your vendor roster.
Which vendors should be credited on a wedding film?
Everyone whose work appears in the film or shaped the day: the photographer, planner, venue, florist, DJ or band, officiant, and hair and makeup, plus attire, catering and rentals where they show. Ask the couple for the final list, because late changes are common. A Hailo gallery holds up to 32 credits, each with a role and a link.
Should a wedding film have end credits?
That is a style choice. Some filmmakers roll wedding end credits after the last shot; others keep the film clean and credit vendors on the delivery page instead, where each name can link to a website. Hailo's credits are the second kind: they sit on the gallery and never touch the film, so you can do both if you want.
