Send a contract to a second shooter
Send your Second Shooter Agreement, or any contract, to crew for an e-signature, countersign it, and keep the signed copy.
A crew agreement is a contract you send to a second shooter, an associate or anyone you hire to film for you. They sign it from a link. There's no proposal, no payment and nothing in your pipeline, just the agreement and a signature.
Your Library comes with a Second Shooter Agreement ready to send. Any contract in your Library can go out this way.
The starter contracts are working drafts, not legal advice. Have an attorney review anything you plan to rely on.
Send one
You can start from three places:
- The contract. Open it under Templates > Contract templates and click Send to crew.
- The wedding. On a client's Event tab, click Send agreement under the filmmaker or second shooter you've credited. The shooter and the wedding are picked for you.
- The vendor. Open them under Vendors and click Send an agreement.
On the send screen:
- Pick the Contract, who it goes to (Send to) and the Wedding. Choose Someone new to type a name and email; they're added to your Vendors when you send.
- Check the agreement text. Their name, the wedding date and the venue are filled in for you. Type in anything else the contract asks for, like the day rate and call time. If blanks are left, a note under the text tells you.
- Click Send for signature.
They get an email from your connected mailbox with a link to read and sign. No account or login needed. If you don't have a mailbox connected, copy the link from the agreement's page and send it however you like.
The text you send is the text they sign. Editing the contract in your Library later doesn't change an agreement that's already out.
Countersign
When they sign, you get a notification and an email. Open the agreement from either, or from Vendors > Crew agreements, where anything waiting on you is listed first.
Draw or type your signature, enter your full name and click Countersign. You'll both get the signed copy as a PDF. Open yours any time with Open the signed PDF.
Find it later
Every signed agreement is listed on the shooter's vendor record and, if you picked one, on the wedding's Event tab. Vendors > Crew agreements lists every one you've sent.
The agreement's page shows where it stands: when you sent it, when they opened it, and when each of you signed.
Change your mind
Before they sign, you can Email it again or Withdraw it. A withdrawn link stops working.
Once they've signed, the agreement is a record and stays one. It can't be withdrawn, and deleting the vendor doesn't remove it.
