Custom link ending
Replace the random ending of a gallery link with the couple's names or anything you choose.
Every gallery link ends in a short slug. New galleries get one made from the couple's names. You can type your own at any time; links you already sent keep working.
Open the fold
Click Share, then open Customize the end of the link /
Change the ending
- Type over the field after the fixed part of the link.
- Click away. The new ending saves and the link at the top of the panel updates.
Spaces become hyphens and "&" becomes "and", so "Avery & Steven" becomes avery-and-steven.
The caption under the field depends on the state:
- With a custom ending: "Type over it to change what the couple sees. Clear it and the link falls back to a random ending."
- Without one: "The grey ending is the random one Hailo gave this link. Type your own to replace it. Something like avery-and-steven."
Then, on a published gallery: "Any link you have already sent keeps working." On a draft: "This link stays dark until you publish. The couple sees a 'not ready yet' page, whatever the ending is."
Old links keep working
Changing the ending never breaks a link that is already out. The original link and every ending you have used still open the gallery.
If it didn't work

| "another delivery is using that ending" | Another gallery (yours or another studio's) already has it. Add the year or a venue name. |
