Unpaid invoices by when they land
See everything couples still owe, grouped by whether it is late, due soon, due later this year, or not until next year.
Finance > Unpaid answers one question: when does the money that is owed to me actually land? Weddings book eighteen months out, so most of what is outstanding is not late, it is future. This page groups by that, in plain words, instead of by how old the debt is.
The tiles
| Tile | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Clients owe | The total "across every open invoice". |
| Late | Balances past their due date. Red when there is anything in it. |
| Next few weeks | "due in the next 30 days". |
| Next year | Money that "doesn't land until next year". |
By when it lands
The list is banded, late first, with the band total on each heading:
- Late
- Next few weeks
- Later this year
- Next year
- No due date set
Each row shows the couple, a plain-English phrase ("7 days late", "due in 10 days", "due June 2027") and the balance. Click a row to open the invoice.
If any invoice has no due date, a line under the list warns: "$X has no due date, so nothing will ever flag it as late. Open those invoices and set one."
Empty: "No one owes you anything."
The Aging report under Reports still exists for your accountant. It buckets by days overdue (Current, 1 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 90, 90+). Use this page day to day and Aging at tax time.
