Themes

Choose Original, Midnight, Bone & Ink, Chalk or your own Custom theme for the app around your work.

A theme changes the chrome around your work: the sidebar, top bar, panels and buttons of Hailo itself. It never touches what couples see. Proposals, invoices, emails, inquiry forms and delivery pages are painted by your brand kit, not by your theme.

The five themes

Theme Look Where you pick it
Original Dark glass, purple and teal Settings > Account
Midnight Navy and champagne, serif type Settings > Account
Bone & Ink Cream and rust, serif type Settings > Account
Chalk Chalk and slate, daylight Settings > Account
Custom Your own brand kit: the palette and fonts from Logo and colors Settings > Your studio > Logo and colors

Pick a built-in theme

  1. Open Settings > Account.
  2. Under How you view Hailo, click a tile. The app repaints at once. Hover a tile for its one-line description.

The tile you are on shows a check mark. If the save fails, the tile snaps back and you see "Couldn't save that theme. Check your connection and try again."

Pick Custom

Custom reads the four palette colors and the two fonts on Logo and colors, so it lives there, beside the kit it uses.

  1. Open Settings > Your studio > Logo and colors.
  2. Scroll to Use this kit as your app theme on the right.
  3. Click Custom.

Change a palette color and the app follows it.

Switch away from Custom

While Custom is active, a fifth Custom tile appears on Account so you can see what you are on. Click any of the four built-in tiles there to leave it.

If it didn't work

  • The Custom tile is missing from Account. It only appears there while Custom is active. Pick it on Logo and colors.
  • Couples say the gallery looks different. They cannot see your theme. Check the brand kit on Logo and colors and the gallery's own look settings instead.
  • A theme looks half applied. Reload the app. Your theme follows you to any Mac you sign in on.
