Entry splash and music
Set the screen the couple meets first, its style and line, the backdrop, and a music bed that fades when a film starts.
The Entry panel controls the first two things a couple meets: a splash screen with their names and one button, and a music bed that plays behind the page until a film starts. The panel lists them in that order.
Open the panel
Click Entry in the rail.
The splash
The row is named Splash: "Their names over the cover, one button in." Flip the toggle on the right to switch it on. When it is on, the panel reveals the controls below.
Style
Pick one from the Style menu. Each option shows its name and a short blurb:

Line
The Line field is the one sentence under their names. Leave it empty and the couple sees Your film is ready. Up to 200 characters.
Live preview
The stage under the fields is a scaled copy of the real splash, not a mock-up, so what you see is what the couple gets. The bar reads Live preview with a Full screen button to see it at size. With the splash off the stage reads Switch the splash on to see it here.
Backdrop
The Backdrop row shows a thumbnail and one of two states:

| Its own photo / "Your banner is untouched" | The splash has its own photo. The cover stays as it is. |
- Upload a photo (or Replace photo once one exists) gives the splash its own picture.
- Use the cover (shown only when the splash has its own photo) goes back to following the cover.
What the couple sees
Your studio name, their initials in a ring (Monogram style), their names, the date, the line, a hairline and the button Enter your gallery. Pressing Enter or Space anywhere also enters. Once they have entered, that browser remembers and skips the splash next time.
Music
The row is named Music: "Fades out when a film starts."
Add a track
- Click + Add a track. The hint reads MP3, M4A, AAC or WAV · 50 MB · use a track you're licensed for.
- Pick the file. It uploads and the row shows the file name.
Until a track exists there is no on/off switch, only the button.
With a track
- The switch turns the bed on or off for this page.
- The track row shows the file name with Replace and Remove. Removing the track also switches the bed off.
- Volume is a slider from 0 to 100 in steps of 5, with a live percentage. The default is 35%.
On the page the couple gets a Sound chip. Its tooltip toggles between Turn the music on and Turn the music off. The bed ducks to silence when a film plays and comes back after.
The click warning
Browsers refuse to start sound until the visitor has clicked something. If music is on, a track exists and the splash is off, the panel warns: Browsers need a click before sound can play, so this may stay silent. with a Turn the splash on button. The splash's Enter your gallery button is that click.
Use music you hold a licence for. The track is served to everyone who opens the page.
If it didn't work
Music upload messages:

- The couple hears nothing. The splash is off, so the browser never got its click. Turn the splash on, or ask them to click the Sound chip.
- The splash shows an old photo. It has its own photo. Click Use the cover to follow the cover again.
