The gallery editor
Learn the editor's top bar, the rail of ten tools and how the panels behave.
The editor shows the couple's page exactly as they will see it, with a rail of tools down one side. Everything you change saves on its own as you type.
Open the editor
Click a gallery card on the Deliver launchpad or in the Galleries list, click the pencil on a card, or click Build the gallery at the end of the wizard. The editor fills the window under Hailo's normal top bar, so the wing switcher and sidebar stay where they are.
The top bar
Left: the title
The gallery's name sits at the left. Click it to rename (tooltip Click to rename), type, then click away or press Enter. This is the name you see on cards and in notifications; it is separate from the headline the couple sees on the page, which is their names unless you set a page title (see Page text and note).

Save pill states

| Unsaved | You have changed something; it saves within a second. |
| Saving… | A save is in flight. |
| Uploading… | A file (photo, music, film) is transferring. |
| Applying… | A look or preset is being applied. The editor reloads when it finishes. |
| Save failed | The last save did not reach the server. Make the change again. |
| Upload failed | A file did not go up. Try again; if the file is too large you will have been told why. |
| Network error | Hailo could not reach the server. Check your connection; the pill returns to All saved once the pending change goes through. |
Pending edits are flushed before you leave the editor, so switching wings mid-sentence does not lose the last keystrokes.
The rail of ten tools
The rail runs in the order a page is built: the structural decision first, then the content, then the extras, then access.

Panels and collapse handles
- Click a tool to open its panel beside the page. The panel header shows its title and a double-chevron Collapse panel button.
- The thin handle on the rail's edge (Hide or show the editing panels) collapses the whole rail so the page fills the window. Hailo remembers this choice on this Mac.
- Changes show in the page as you make them; you do not need to save or refresh.
The "This section is hidden" strip
Open Review, Upsells, Vendors or Access while that section is switched off in Layout and a strip pins above the panel:
"This section is hidden, so nothing you change here reaches the couple." with a Show it button.
Show it flips the same switch the Layout panel uses. Nothing you type in a hidden section is lost; it appears the moment the section is shown.
If it didn't work
- The pill says "Save failed" or "Network error". Check your connection, then make the change once more. Do not close the editor while the pill is not All saved.
- A panel is missing from the rail. Some looks do not have every section. Heritage has no footer, so its Footer panel is not offered. See Layout and sections.
- You changed something and the couple's page did not change. Reload their page; if the section is hidden in Layout, show it first.
