Versions
Find which version of Hailo you are running, understand why Manage and Deliver can be newer than it, and read the release notes.
Every build of Hailo has a version number such as 1.2.140. It tells support which build you are on, and it tells you whether an update is waiting.
See your version
- Click More at the bottom of the sidebar.
- The last line of the menu reads Version v1.2.140 (your number will differ).
The same number is what Hailo sends with any feedback you submit, so you do not need to quote it when you write in.
Why the app shows this build's number
The line shows the version of the app you are running, not the newest one published. If a newer version exists, the Update tile appears in the sidebar; the version line does not change until you install it. See Updates.
Manage and Deliver can be newer than your build
New features in Manage and Deliver arrive the moment they are published, without a new version of the app. So it is normal for a Manage screen to have something the release notes for your build do not mention. The version number describes the app and the Edit wing.
Release notes
Open hailo.studio/download and scroll to Release notes. Each version is a fold showing its number, date and title; open one to read what changed. The line under the download button reads "Version 1.2.140 ยท macOS 12 or later" and always names the newest build.
The What's new panel behind the Update tile shows the same notes for versions newer than yours.
If it didn't work
The version line is blank or says v0. Hailo could not read its own build number. Quit and reopen. If it persists, send a note from Feedback.
The number in More is older than the one on the download page, but there is no Update tile. Wait 15 minutes for the next check. If the tile still does not appear, quit and reopen Hailo.
