Deliver

The Deliver wing at a glance

Find your way around the Deliver launchpad, the Galleries list and the Delivery card on a client record.

Deliver is the wing where a finished film becomes a page the couple opens in their browser. Every gallery starts from the Deliver launchpad, lives in the Galleries list, and also shows up on the client's record in Manage.

The Deliver launchpad

Switch to Deliver in the top bar and you land on the launchpad. It has four areas, top to bottom.

Hero

A looping film plays behind the heading Ready to deliver? Let's wrap the film. Under it: "One page that holds the film, sends the link, and keeps everything in one place for the couple to come back to."

The card marked Featured is titled Start a gallery: "Pick the client, drop the film, and Hailo spins up the page they'll watch it on." Click anywhere on it to open the new-gallery wizard. See Create a gallery.

Recent deliveries

Your latest galleries as cards. The caption reads "Your latest pages. The full list lives under Deliveries."

  1. Use the capsule to filter: All, Drafts or Published. It opens on All.
  2. Click View all to open the full Galleries list.
  3. Click a card to open that gallery in the editor.

Each card shows:

Part of the card What it shows
Cover The gallery's cover photo, a looping banner video or the cover cut from the film. If none is set yet, the words No cover yet.
Title The couple's names, unless you typed your own page title.
Meta line The client's name, then Updated and the date. The client name is left out when it would repeat the title.
Status chip Published (green), Locked (the gallery has a password but is not published yet) or Draft.
The small x Deletes the gallery. Its tooltip is Delete this delivery. It opens a confirm dialog inside Hailo; see Delete a gallery.

If a filter has nothing in it you see: "Nothing here yet. Switch the toggle or start a gallery above."

Browse templates

"The visual designs your gallery can use. Pick one when you start a new gallery." Each template card is a live, scaled-down rendering of that look with a sample couple, not a static picture. Four looks sit on this shelf: Gallery, Cinematic, Minimal and Heritage. The other four looks are reached from inside the editor; see Looks and presets.

Each card has two buttons:

  • Preview opens the look full size with sample data.
  • Use template opens the new-gallery wizard with that look already chosen.

The Galleries list

Open it from View all on the launchpad. The breadcrumb reads Deliver / Deliveries and the heading is Galleries: "Every gallery you've built. Copy a link, edit one, or peek at what the couple sees."

  • New gallery (top right) opens the wizard.
  • Filter pills with counts: All, Draft, Published. The pills are hidden until you have at least one gallery.
Part Meaning
Thumbnail The cover, or No cover yet.
Chip, top left The look the gallery uses.
Chip, top right Expired (amber) if the expiry date has passed, otherwise Published (green) or Draft (grey). Expired wins over Published.
N viewers How many different browsers have opened the published page. One person refreshing five times is still one viewer. Your own visits never count.
N plays How many times someone pressed play. Shown only once there has been at least one play.
N% watched The furthest point any viewer has reached in the film. Shown only once there has been a play.
N dl How many film files have been downloaded. A "download all" counts one per file.

See Analytics for what these numbers do and do not tell you.

The four icon actions

Hover the icons at the foot of a card for their tooltips.

Icon What it does Tooltip on a draft
Copy link Copies the couple's link. If you have a custom domain, the link uses it. Copy public link. It won't open for anyone until you publish
Open Opens the couple's page. On a draft, you see the real gallery while anyone else with the link sees the "not ready" page. Open public page. Only you can see it until you publish
Pencil Opens the gallery in the editor.
Trash (turns red on hover) Deletes the gallery. Delete delivery

Deleting from the list

Click the trash icon. A dialog titled Delete ""?</strong> asks: "The couple's link stops working right away. The films are kept for 30 days before they're released." Confirm with <strong>Delete gallery</strong>. Details in <a href="/help/deliver-sharing/delete-a-gallery/">Delete a gallery</a>.</p> <h3 id="empty-states">Empty states</h3> <p>With no galleries the list shows <strong>No deliveries yet</strong> (or <strong>No draft deliveries</strong> / <strong>No published deliveries</strong> when a filter is on) with "Build the first one. Pick a template, attach a project, share the public URL with the couple." and a <strong>New gallery</strong> button.</p> <h2 id="the-delivery-card-on-a-client-record">The Delivery card on a client record</h2> <p>Open a client (or a lead) in Manage and scroll to the card titled <strong>Delivery (N)</strong>, where N is how many galleries belong to them. It has a <strong>New delivery</strong> button that opens the wizard with that client picked.</p> <p>Each row shows the gallery title (click it to open the editor), the look, a status pill (<strong>sent</strong>, <strong>published</strong> or <strong>draft</strong>) and either <strong>View live</strong> or a greyed <strong>not published</strong>.</p> <p>With no gallery yet the card reads "No delivery page yet. Start one" with a link into the wizard.</p> <h2 id="where-the-couples-link-points">Where the couple's link points</h2> <p>Every gallery has one public link.
