Blueprint Studio hotkeys
The keyboard shortcuts in the Blueprints results area, how to rebind them, and how to reset them.
The Blueprints results area has a small set of keyboard shortcuts for reviewing a built film and swapping shots. Every one of them can be rebound, and your bindings are remembered between sessions.
The defaults

Play, zoom in and zoom out work on the timeline. The rest work once you have opened a shot: previous and next clip cycle through the candidate clips for that cut, the arrows slide the selected window inside the clip, Enter applies the pick, and Escape returns to the timeline.
Rebind a key
- In the results area, click the keyboard icon (Keyboard shortcuts). A panel titled Keyboard shortcuts opens with one row per action.
- Click the key chip next to the action. It changes to "Press…".
- Press the new key. The chip updates and the binding is saved.
- Press Escape while a chip reads "Press…" to cancel that rebind.
The footer reads "Click a key, then press the new one. Esc cancels."
If the key you press is already bound to another action, that other action loses its key. Its chip goes blank until you give it a new one, so no key ever triggers two actions.
Reset to defaults
Click Reset to defaults in the panel footer. Every action returns to the table above.
Bindings are remembered
Your bindings survive quitting Hailo and updating it. They are per Mac, so a second Mac starts from the defaults.
If it didn't work

| A key does nothing | Check the panel. If its chip is blank, the key was taken by another rebind. Give it a new key. |
| Space scrolls instead of playing | Click inside the film player once so it has focus, then press Space. |
| The shortcuts reverted on their own | Click Reset to defaults and rebind. If it keeps happening, quit and reopen Hailo so the saved bindings load fresh. |
