Looks and presets
Switch a gallery between the eight looks, and save your own presets to reuse.
A look is the visual design of the couple's page. A preset is a look plus your settings, saved under a name so the next gallery starts the way you like it.
The eight looks
| Look | Feel |
|---|---|
| Gallery | A rounded hero and a rail of the day's cuts. The default. |
| Cinematic | Dark and full-bleed. The film speaks. |
| Minimal | One page, no chrome, the film and little else. |
| Heritage | Cream paper, sage ornaments, a crest to lean into. No footer. |
| Storybook | Warm paper and serif type. |
| Editorial | Magazine layout on cream, bold display type. |
| Liquid Glass | Dark glass panels with ice-blue light. |
| Atelier | Luxury editorial on paper, gold accents, extras typeset inside Downloads. |
Four of them (Gallery, Cinematic, Minimal, Heritage) sit on the Browse templates shelf on the Deliver launchpad, with live previews, Preview and Use template buttons. The other four are reached from inside the editor.
Switch looks
- Click Preset at the top of the editor.
- Under Start from, click a look. All eight are listed.
- The pill shows Applying… and the editor reloads with the new look.
Which sections a look supports is in Layout and sections. Your films, text, cover and settings stay; only the design changes.
Applying a look or preset reloads the editor. If a film is still uploading, wait for it to finish first, or the reload can cancel the transfer. Hailo will refuse the switch while an upload is at risk, the same way it refuses changing the main film.
Your presets
The top of the Preset menu is Your presets. Until you save one it reads None yet.
Save a preset
- Set up a gallery the way you want: look, colours, footer, splash style and so on.
- Open Preset and click Save this as a preset.
- Name it.
Apply a preset
Open Preset and click the preset. The editor reloads dressed as that preset, and the Preset control shows its name instead of the look's.
Rename or delete a preset
Each preset row has a pencil (Rename) and a trash icon (Delete). Renaming edits in place; pressing Escape abandons the rename, not the preset.
