The calendar
See weddings, leads, calls, blocks and edit days in one place, add a block or a lead from any day, and subscribe from your phone.
The calendar is every date Hailo knows about: booked weddings, pencilled-in leads, discovery calls, your own blocks, edit sessions, and your Google and Apple calendars. Open it from Calendar in the sidebar.
Views
Month (default), Week, Day and List. List is an agenda of what is coming up. Switch with the tabs in the header.
Header controls
- ← and → move a month, week or day. Today (keyboard T) jumps back.
- Click the year to pick another year.
- The line in the middle names your next shoot with its date, venue and "today", "tomorrow" or "in N days". With no shoot booked it names your nearest live lead instead. Click it to open the record.
- Subscribe (tooltip "Subscribe to this calendar on your phone") copies a feed link and tries to open it in your Mac's Calendar app. The button reads "Link copied" for a moment. Paste the link into any calendar app to follow your Hailo calendar. It is one-way: Hailo to the other app. To invalidate an old link, click Reset link under Settings > Integrations > Subscribe via link.
- The stat reads "N on the calendar".
What is on it

Within a day, chips are ordered booked, lead, call, block, edit, then external.
Filter pills
Under the grid: Booked, Leads, Calls, Blocks, Edit, Google, Apple. Click one to hide or show that kind. Your choice is remembered on this Mac. If a view looks empty, check the pills first.
Busy days
- A warning icon with the tooltip "Two weddings on this day" marks a double booking.
- Days with more than three entries show +N more. Click it to list the whole day.
Drag to reschedule
Drag a booked wedding or a block to another day. The chip's tooltip reads "drag to reschedule". The event moves, and a wedding is re-pushed to your connected Google and Apple calendars in the background. Leads and calls cannot be dragged.
Add from a day
Click an empty day to open the quick-add menu.
Personal block
- Choose Personal block.
- Type a title (placeholder "Block title (e.g. Travel)").
- Pick the kind: General block, Travel, Unavailable or Edit day.
- Pick the repeat: Does not repeat, Repeats weekly or Repeats monthly. A repeating block shows a "Repeat until (optional)" date.
- Click Add block.
New lead
Choose New lead to open the New lead form with that day as the tentative wedding date. See Add a lead.
New booked event
Choose New booked event to open the Clients list in picker mode. Pick the couple and the event form opens with the date filled in. See The wedding event.
The Next up rail
To the right, Next up lists upcoming weddings and live leads with a countdown ("Today" or "N days"); leads carry a Lead pill. Empty: "Nothing on the books yet." In List view, an empty agenda reads "Nothing on the calendar in the next six months."
External calendars
Google and Apple events load after the page draws, so they can appear a moment late. If a connection has expired or you are offline, that layer is empty and everything else still works. See Google Calendar and Apple Calendar.
Discovery calls
A call booked through your call page shows as a Call chip and lives on the lead. There is no cancel control on the chip yet; to move a call, reply to the couple and have them book a new time, which creates a fresh entry.
Troubleshooting
My Google events are missing. Check the Google pill is on, then check the connection under Settings > Integrations. Reconnect if it has expired.
A wedding I dragged did not move in Google. The push runs in the background. Open the event on the client and save it to push again.
The Subscribe button did nothing. The link was copied even if no app opened. Paste it into your calendar app's subscribe or "add by URL" option.
