The client portal

The one page a couple can bookmark to find their proposal, contract, invoices, questionnaire and finished film.

Every client gets a portal: a single page that collects every link you have sent them. The couple opens it in a browser and bookmarks it. You never have to resend a proposal or invoice link again.

  1. Open the lead or client record.
  2. In the header, click Client portal ↗ to see the page yourself, or Copy link to copy its address. The button reads "Copied ✓" for a moment.

The controls appear once the couple is a client. On a lead that has not converted, they are not there yet.

What the couple sees

The page is headed "Your wedding film", then "Everything for , in one place." and the line "Here's your proposal, contract, payments, and films. Bookmark this page and check back anytime."

Below that, a card per section. A section only appears once there is something in it.

Section Blurb Button
Proposal "Your film package and pricing." View proposal
Contract & booking "Sign and pay to lock your date." Review & sign
Invoices "Payments for your wedding film." View & pay, or Paid once settled
Questionnaire "Tell us about your day." Fill out, or Completed once submitted
Your film "Watch and download your finished films." Watch your film

Each item carries a small status word next to it (for example Sent, Viewed, Paid, Ready).

When items appear

  • A proposal appears once it is sent.
  • The booking appears once it is published.
  • An invoice appears once it is sent.
  • A questionnaire appears once you send it.
  • A film appears once its gallery is published.

Drafts and unpublished pages never show. Before anything is sent, the page reads "Nothing here yet. Your filmmaker will add your proposal and details soon."

Troubleshooting

The couple says the booking is missing from their portal. The booking is still a draft. Click Publish on the Booking tab, or send it with Email to client.

"Client portal ↗" is not in the header. The couple has not become a client. Complete the booking or click Convert to client.
