Notifications

Settings > Notifications decides what Hailo tells you about and how. Every event has two switches, Bell and Email, and one Frequency setting covers all emails. Changes save as you flip them; the status line reads All saved.

How the three controls fit together

Control	What it does
Bell	The event shows in the bell at the top of the app. This is the master switch: with Bell off, the event is muted completely. No bell, no email, no digest line.
Email	The event is also emailed to you. Only available while that event's Bell is on; the switch is disabled otherwise.
Frequency	Whether email-enabled events go out as they happen or are bundled into one message a day or a week. The bell always pings live either way.

Defaults for a new studio: every Bell on, every Email off, Frequency set to per event.

Email delivery

The panel at the top shows where mail goes.

• A chip with your studio email means notifications go there. It is the Email field on Your details.
• A No email set chip means there is nowhere to send them yet. Add an email under Your details before turning on any Email switches.
• If this install cannot send email at all, the panel says so: "Email sending isn't configured on this install, so toggles will save but nothing sends."

Frequency

Option	Behaviour
Per event	One email per event, as things happen.
Daily digest	One summary a day.
Weekly digest	One summary a week.

Digests bundle every email-enabled event into one message instead of mailing per event.

Send test email

Click Send test email to check the whole path before you trust a switch. Hailo mails "Hailo, notification test" to your studio email.

Result shown next to the button	Meaning

Three panels, one per wing. Each row has a short description and the two switches.

Manage

"Leads, bookings, contracts, and money."

Event	Fires when
New lead	Someone submits your inquiry form or a lead is added.
Consult scheduled	A prospect books a consult call.
Client replied	A couple replies to one of your emails.
Booking confirmed	A lead converts to a booking.
Contract signed	A couple signs their contract.
Payment received	A payment lands, full or partial.
Payment marked sent	A couple marks a manual payment (Zelle, check) as sent.
Payment reminder sent	Hailo auto-emails a couple about a due invoice.
Wedding coming up	A booked wedding date is getting close.
Pipeline stage moved	An automation moves a lead to a new stage.

Edit

"The footage pipeline."

Event	Fires when
Editing plan ready	An editing plan finishes building.
Pipeline finished	Footage sorting or a pipeline run finishes.
Pipeline failed	A pipeline run hits an error and needs a look.

Deliver

"What couples do on their delivery pages."

Event	Fires when
Delivery page viewed	A couple opens their delivery page, first and repeat visits.
Film downloaded	A couple downloads their film.
Upsell purchased	An upsell purchase comes through on a delivery page.

Turn an event on or off

1. Find the event in its wing panel.
2. Flip Bell to mute or unmute it everywhere.
3. With Bell on, flip Email to also get it by email.

The hint at the bottom of the page sums it up: Bell off mutes an event completely, and Email needs the event's bell on.

If it didn't work

• The Email switch is greyed out. Turn that event's Bell on first.
• No emails arrive. Click Send test email. If it reports "No email on your business profile yet", add one under Your details. If it says sending is not configured, this install cannot send.
• Emails arrive once a day instead of at once. Frequency is set to a digest. Choose Per event.
• The status line reads "Couldn't save". Check your connection and flip the switch again.
