Usage meters

The Today panel on Settings > Hailo Billing shows how much of your plan you have used this cycle. There are up to four meters, and the one closest to its limit is always first, because that is the one about to stop your work.

The four meters

Delivery uploads	"new film this cycle"	How much new film you have uploaded to galleries this cycle. Every meter resets on the same day each month, a month from the day you signed up, and the meter shows the date. Films that are still uploading count toward the limit too, so several films started together cannot go past it. Underneath, the meter also tells you how much of your work is live right now, and how much bought delivery you have left.	Studio 100 GB, Pro 200 GB, early access 10 GB. Not included on Edit

Each meter reads used / limit, for example 2.4 / 10 hours or 312 / 750. The footage meter shows hours with one decimal; whole hours drop the decimal.

Under the footage meter a note may add:

• "Plus 2.5 bought hours that never expire." when you have top-up hours on your balance.
• "Resets {date}." with the day your cycle rolls over.

The colours

Bar	Meaning
Normal	Under 80% of the limit
Warning colour	80% or more of the limit. A busy weekend can finish the month from here. The top-up block under the meters switches to "You're close to your limit for this cycle."
Over	Past 100%. The feature is paused until the cycle rolls over, or until you add hours

The panel's own line says what happens at the top: "When a meter fills, that feature pauses until the month rolls over."

A run that is already going when the footage meter fills always finishes. The next one does not start. Inside the Edit wing you will see a dialog titled You're out of tokens. with "This cycle's tokens are used up, so the run has paused where it stands. Nothing is lost. Add more and it carries on." and the buttons Add more · $25, See your plan and Not now. Tokens are the Edit wing's word for the same footage allowance this meter shows in hours.

"Not included" and "Unlimited"

• Not included means your plan has none of that thing. It is not a limit of zero you can reach; the feature is off. You would see it on a wing-scoped plan if that meter were shown.
• Unlimited (the bar reads No limit on this plan) means there is no cap. Only internal accounts have this.

These two are never confused on the page: a plan with a zero allowance shows Not included, never Unlimited.

Why some meters are missing

Meters for wings your plan does not include are not shown at all, rather than shown at 0%. On the Edit plan, Ask Hailo belongs to the Manage wing and delivery storage belongs to the Deliver wing, so those two meters do not appear; you only see Footage analyzed and Blueprint builds. A bar at 0% would read as a limit you are near, not a wing you did not buy.

When meters reset

• Footage analyzed, Blueprint builds and Ask Hailo reset at the start of each billing cycle. The cycle is anchored to the day your workspace was created, so the "Resets {date}" note under the footage meter is the day to watch, not the first of the month.
• Delivery storage never resets. It is a running total of what is stored.
• Bought hours never expire. They sit on your balance and are drawn on after the cycle's hours are gone.

Why a rebuild never costs hours

Hailo analyzes a wedding's footage once. Building a Blueprint film, changing a song, or rebuilding a film after correcting a label reuses that analysis. So a build costs one Blueprint build, never hours of footage, and re-running a build on the same wedding does not analyze it again. The fine print on the billing page states it: "Rebuilding a wedding never re-analyzes it, so a build never costs hours."

If a meter looks wrong

What you see	What to check
Footage meter jumped more than one wedding	Open What you've run this cycle under the meters. Each row shows the hours it used. A locked-off or drone folder that was not routed as such counts as handheld; see Folder labels.
Blueprint builds shows a different number from the ledger	The meter counts builds since the cycle began. The ledger only shows the last eight runs.
Storage did not go down after deleting a film	The total updates once the delete completes on Hailo's side. Reload the billing page after a minute.
The meter for Ask Hailo or storage is missing	You are on the Edit plan. Those wings are not included. See Locked wings.
