The review prompt

Ask the couple for a Google review from their gallery, with your review link.

The Review section puts one line and one button on the page asking the couple to leave you a review. The button goes to your Google review link.

Open the panel

Click Review in the rail. The panel is titled Review CTA.

Fields

Field What it does
CTA text The line above the button. Placeholder: "Loved it? Would you leave us a note?"
Google review URL Where the button goes. Placeholder: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=…

Under the field: "Don't have one yet? Get your review link" opens Google's own help page on finding your review link. Or: "Or paste a Google Maps URL. Hailo will convert it."

You can paste any of these and Hailo turns it into the write-review link when you click away from the field:

  • A Google Maps place link (the long one from the share button).
  • A short g.page/r/… link.
  • A link containing ?cid=.
  • A bare domain. Hailo adds https:// for you.

Turning the section on or off

There is no switch in this panel. The Review section is shown or hidden from the Layout panel, like every other section. If Review is hidden, a strip at the top of this panel says so and offers Show it.

The Layout warning

When Review is on and no link is saved, the Layout panel shows No review link saved, so this shows without a button. with Add one in Review. The couple sees your line but nothing to click. Paste a link and the warning clears.

If it didn't work

  • The button is missing on the page. No link is saved. Paste one.
  • The link opens Google Maps instead of the review form. Paste the link again and click out of the field so Hailo can convert it, or use Google's help page to copy the write-review link directly.
Still stuck? Send a note from the contact page and a real person at Hailo answers. Include the studio name you signed up with and, if it is about a specific screen, what you clicked.
