Search
Open quick search with ⌘K, find leads, clients, invoices and pages by name, and peek at a record without leaving the screen you are on.
Quick search finds anything in your workspace by name, from any wing, without you remembering where it lives.
Open search
- Press ⌘K anywhere in Hailo.
- Or click Search in the top bar. Its tooltip reads "Quick search (⌘K)".
A box opens with the placeholder "Search clients, leads, invoices, pages…" and an Esc hint.
Use the results
- Start typing. Results update as you type.
- Use the ↑ and ↓ keys to move the highlight, or hover with the mouse.
- Press Return to open the highlighted result, or click it.
- Press Esc to close.

Matching is by partial text, so "sar" finds Sarah and "INV-00" finds invoices that start that way.
Pages and actions
Typing the name of a section jumps you there. These pages are always searchable: Dashboard, Leads, Clients, Vendors, Proposals, Invoices, Bookings, Calendar, Catalog, Templates, Settings, Embed forms, Your details, Links, Logo and colors, Proposals and invoices, Fonts, Integrations and Edit (footage).
Four actions are searchable too: New lead, New proposal, New invoice and New delivery page. Each opens the form to create one.
Your studio's settings are indexed as their four sub-pages, so typing "logo" lands on Logo and colors rather than the top of one long page.
The quick-view drawer
Some results open a side drawer instead of a full page: enough of the record to check something and get on with what you were doing. A lead or client in quick view shows its key details and recent invoices, with Open full record to go to the full page and Email to write to them.
Empty search
Open search and type nothing: the list shows the pages above as shortcuts, so ⌘K doubles as a jump menu.
If it didn't work
"No matches." followed by a hint to try a name, an invoice number or a section. Nothing in your workspace matched. Check spelling, try a shorter fragment, or try the other partner's name.
A record you know exists is missing. Search matches the fields in the table above only. Notes, email bodies and questionnaire answers are not searched. Open the record's list page and filter there.
⌘K does nothing. Another app may own the shortcut, or a text field inside an embedded editor has focus. Click Search in the top bar instead.
