Mark a project delivered

How publishing a gallery marks the project delivered, and what changes on the client, the dashboard and your automations when it does.

"Delivered" is the last stage of a project. It happens when you publish the couple's gallery, and Manage updates on its own.

When you click Publish on a gallery in the Deliver wing, the dialog "Publish this gallery?" explains: "This turns the link on. Nothing reaches the couple until you send it. You can do that as soon as it's live. Edit anytime; the published page updates with your changes." It shows the public link with Copy, and a checkbox:

Mark project as delivered. "Drops it from 'On the bench' on your dashboard."

The box is ticked by default. Leave it ticked and click Publish. Untick it if you are publishing a preview or an extra gallery and the film is not really done yet. See Publish a gallery.

A gallery with no film cannot be published. You will see "Add a film before publishing. This delivery has no video yet." or, while an upload is in progress, "Your film is still being prepared. Publish will be ready the moment it lands on the page."

What changes in Manage

Where What happens
Project stage Delivered, with the delivery date stamped the first time.
Client status Moves to Delivered on the Clients list. A client is never moved backwards, and archived clients are left alone.
Dashboard The film leaves On the bench and appears under Recently delivered.
Goals Counts toward your on-time delivery rate.
Automations Any automation with a delivered trigger runs.

Publishing never emails the couple. Send the gallery as a separate step. See Email the couple.

The completion page

Hailo also has a project completion page with a checklist (Pipeline outputs delivered, Delivery page sent, All invoices paid, Booking status) and a Mark project complete button. It sets the project to delivered, archives the client and closes the booking, but it does not start delivered automations. No screen links to it today, so treat the gallery publish as the way to deliver. See The project.

Change the status by hand

If you delivered outside Hailo, open the Clients list, click the client's status chip and choose Delivered or Archived. This changes the roster only; it does not stamp a delivery date or run automations.

Troubleshooting

The film is still on the bench after publishing. The Mark project as delivered box was unticked, or the gallery is not attached to this couple's project. Publish again with the box ticked from a gallery attached to the right couple.

The client still says Editing. Only publishing with the box ticked moves the status. Change it by hand on the Clients list if needed.
